Description
Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a sales plan aligned with the company’s production and revenue goals.
- Identify target markets and develop strategies for penetration and expansion.
- Forecast demand and sales volumes in collaboration with the production and logistics teams.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
2. Team Management
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and recommend training or support where needed.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners (distributors, supermarkets, bulk buyers, etc.).
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and quick resolution of client complaints.
4. Market Development &Intelligence
- Conduct regular market visits to assess product availability, pricing, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Share insights with management to inform product development and pricing strategies.
5. Sales Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and forecasts.
- Monitor sales budgets, profitability, and return on investment for campaigns and initiatives.
6. Brand and Product Promotion
- Collaborate with marketing to execute product awareness campaigns, promotions, and merchandising strategies in retail and wholesale outlets.
7. Logistics and Distribution Coordination
· Work with logistics and dispatch teamsto ensure smooth product delivery.
· Collaborate with warehouse teams toensure there is proper stock level to meet market demand
8. Debt collectionand Credit Management
· Monitor customer credit limits andensure timely collections.
· Work with finance team to minimize baddebts.
· Enforce company credit policies amongclients.
