Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional technical education or certification in automotive technology or diesel mechanics is beneficial.
  • Must have 2-5 years experience.
  • Previous experience in automotive repair, diesel mechanics, or a related field is often necessary, especially with fuel injection systems.
  • Completion of specialized training programs or courses focusing on pump injectors and fuel injection systems is advantageous.

Duties

  • Repair, fabricate, install & remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, reciprocating pumps & related rotating equipment.
  • Rotating equipment alignments.
  • Troubleshooting all rotating equipment.
  • Repairs, installs and removes a variety of centrifugal, submersible, water injection, gear, diaphragm and reciprocating pumps, other related, rotating equipment.
  • Maintains, trouble shoots, diagnoses, and repairs all rotating equipment in cost effective manner and within spending thresh hold.
  • Build new and repair reciprocating Bottom Hole Pumps.
  • Pump removals and installations.
  • Rebuilding pumps in the field.
  • New base installations.
  • Perform testing and calibration of pump injectors to ensure optimal performance and fuel efficiency.
  • Identify problems with pump injectors through visual inspection, diagnostic tools, and customer reports.
  • Ensure that repaired or maintained pump injectors meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Interact with customers to understand their concerns, explain repair procedures, and provide estimates for services.
