- Analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends
- Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives
- Prepare International Financial Reporting Standards compliant financial statements and all regulatory reporting requirements.
- Prepare all regulatory returns to CBN as well as interface with them for spot checks, routine inspections etc.
- Generate internal management reports for management analysis and prompt decision making.
- Develop, report and interpret cost drivers, KPI's and benchmarks.
- Provide commentary on financial results and implications and advise on corrective actions to be taken where necessary.
- Interact with business unit line managers on financial outcomes, expense trends, etc.
- Prepare monthly management reports, integrating financial information, economic
information and other valuable insights into the business. - Involvement in business planning and budgeting sessions as well as performance monitoring against plan and variance analysis.
- Involvement in strategy sessions, business performance discussion sessions.
- Involvement in several other projects like software implementation, data clean-up projects, capital management, preference share issue, audit assignment management
and staff management for optimal performance.
