A call for prospective candidates to join our 11th
intake.

The Apprentice program is a two-year endeavor that aims to impart practical skills to automotive Mechanics who have just obtained their academic qualification. The candidates will be exposed to the latest trends in automotive technology while improving their skill levels. The intense training program leads to certification from Toyota Motor Corporation on completion of mandatory theoretical and practical sessions.

Please read the instructions below VERY carefully before proceeding with your application:

  • Ensure that your Fuzu profile is fully complete with all the necessary information (work experience if any and education) before you complete your application

  • Your Passion Statement should be written in the cover letter section. This is critical to your application.

  • The CV you attach should not be longer than 3 pages

  • Save all your certified academic certificates into one pdf file and attach them as one pdf file

  • Ensure you have a good internet connection before starting the General Repair Test. The test will last for 45 minutes only. Any answers inputted after 45 minutes will not be counted into your overall score so ensure you time yourself properly.
  • Once you start the test you only have one chance to complete it, so make sure you have no interruptions

  • Please consider your application unsuccessful should you not be contacted by 1st March 2022

The successful candidates will gain hands on experience at the Toyota General repair garages located in Namanve, Kampala, Gulu or Mbale.


Eligibility

  • Certificate or Diploma holders in Automotive Mechanics or Automotive Engineering, aged 25 years or under

  • Proactive, result-driven, strong-minded individuals with good communication skills, planning ability and leadership potential, preferably with good vision.

  • Team players who are fast learners with innovative ideas.

  • Previous hands on experience in general repair work is ideal but not a prerequisite
  • A very strong desire to learn with a very open mind
  • You must be able to work on Saturdays
