As an Energy Manager at Best.Energy, you’ll use your energy management experience to help our customers achieve their energy-saving goals. Your new role is centred around providing customers with knowledge and expertise on how their energy is being used and where they can make savings without impacting their business and identifying potential issues such as changes in the behaviour of assets.

You may have previously worked in roles such as Energy Analyst, Data Analyst, Energy Manager or perhaps a Sustainability Consultant. You may have engineering experience with HVAC or other facilities management roles and have an interest in data. The team is located in several global locations. Therefore collaboration and communication are key. This is a mid-level role and will suit someone with 2 or more years of experience in energy management.


YOU

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Customer-facing skills,confident communicator not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to customers.


  • 2 or more yearsof experience working

    in energy management

  • 2 or more years of experience working in electrical engineering.

  • Proficient in the use of G-Suite,Excel and/or equivalent tools.


  • Ability to analyse and manipulate data.

  • Having a sharp eye for detailis key for this role - we're sending important information to customers

    about their energy.

    • Monitor equipment remotely through the Best.Energy Analytics platform and other online dashboards.
    • Provide analysis and insight into how a customer site uses energy and other utilities to enable the customer to make smart decisions and save energy/utilities.
    • Create and distribute reports based on analysis for distribution to customers and internally.

  • Make recommendations for how to improve current ECMs (energy conservation measures)

  • Recommend new ECMs to further save energy.

  • Recommend changes in customer and staff behaviour to save energy and maintain customer standards.

  • Create, monitor, and respond to alarms alerting to specific behaviour or circumstances to ensure ECMs are being followed, energy is being saved and customer business is not impacted.

  • Identify changes in the performance of equipment and potential maintenance issues and advise customers of these.

  • Help customers resolve issues and follow up on any issues to ensure client satisfaction with outcomes.

  • Work with the wider Energy Services Team to ensure the best possible service is delivered at all times.

  • Contribute to ECM solution design and improvement.
