Patient Access Specialist (Onsite)

Onsite | Full-time – 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST (Divided Shifts)

Monday to Sunday – Two Rotative Days Off


We are looking for an onsite Patient Access Specialist to handle inbound and outbound patient leads and convert inquiries into scheduled appointments. This role requires strong communication skills, fast follow-up, and experience in healthcare scheduling or medical sales.

Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare scheduling, medical sales, or patient intake.
  • Strong phone communication and closing skills.
  • CRM experience.
  • Insurance verification knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of HIPAA.
  • High urgency, organization, and objection‑handling ability.

Preferred

  • Experience in pain management or specialty medical practices.
  • Handling paid advertising leads or high‑volume environments.
  • Strong consultative sales skills and appointment‑conversion experience.


Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound/outbound calls, texts, emails, chat, and digital leads.
  • Convert patient inquiries into booked appointments.
  • Complete insurance verification and schedule new‑patient appointments.
  • Document all interactions, follow-ups, missed calls, and reminders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve lead‑to‑appointment performance.
