Be a Kenyan citizen (attach ID).
Possess a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Irrigation Engineering, Hydrology & Water Resources Management, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or any other related field.
Possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Relevant working experience of a minimum of ten (10) years in the private sector or served in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for a minimum period of seven (7) years.
Must have attended a Senior Management Course in a recognized institution for not less than four (4) weeks, which will be an added advantage.
Demonstrate a high degree of administrative capability, technical and professional competence as reflected in work performance and results.
Good public relations and resource mobilization skills.
Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on leadership and integrity.
