Description
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- 8 - 12 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated experience in steel fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing.
- Experience developing and implementing operational systems and procedures.
- Strong background in process improvement and operational excellence.
- Experience implementing ERP, MES, digital manufacturing, or business management systems.
- Proven leadership and people-development experience.
- Strong documentation, project management, and change management skills.
- Develop and implement operational systems, policies, and procedures.
- Establish organizational structures, job descriptions, KPIs, and performance management frameworks.
- Build a centralized manufacturing knowledge base covering standards, processes, suppliers, quality, and safety.
- Implement product development systems including 3D design, BOM management, costing, revision control, and product lifecycle management.
- Develop a digital costing and estimating system to improve quotation accuracy and turnaround times.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled solutions for design, estimating, documentation, and project tracking.
- Establish quality management systems, inspection procedures, and non-conformance tracking.
- Implement health and safety policies, training programs, and incident reporting systems.
- Assess, recruit, train, and develop talent while creating succession plans.
