Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications are an added advantage.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in inventory accounting or stock control.
  • Experience with ERP systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting principles and costing methods.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the ERP system across the company.
  • Perform daily and monthly inventory reconciliations.
  • Monitor and report inventory variances.
  • Coordinate and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual physical stock counts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
  • Conduct periodic spot checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with inventory procedures.
  • Strengthen internal controls around stock management and recommend process improvements.
  • Work closely with operations, procurement, and Factory teams to validate stock movements.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards related to inventory management.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions and reconciliations.
  • Support monthly stock validations, adjustments and reporting.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
