We are looking for a highly dedicated and passionate Human Resource & Development professional, who specializes in building seamless HR processes for small and medium-sized businesses. The right person is experienced in the delivery and implementation of HR services and will take the initiative to build the foundations, and champion the human capital development of the company.

This is one of the key roles at Jiffix.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly dedicated and passionate Human Resource & Development professional, who specializes in building seamless HR processes for small and medium-sized businesses. The right person is experienced in the delivery and implementation of HR services and will take the initiative to build the foundations, and champion the human capital development of the company.

This is one of the key roles at Jiffix.

What you'll be doing:

  • Handling Human Resources and Administrative processes including recruitment, onboarding, benefits & compensation, employee relations, performance & talent management, succession planning, and other administrative duties assisting leadership in the people management area.

  • Responsible for the execution, development, and implementation of HR policies and processes.

  • Provide HR advisory, guidance, and support to management and employees on employee-related matters. 

  • Coordinate and monitor the performance management process. Support management in identifying development needs and facilitating development activities (on an individual, team, and organizational level). 

  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed and administered accurately and in time, and according to State and Federal legislation, labor laws, and payroll practices. 

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date personnel administration that complies with local legislation.  Administer and coordinate compensation benefits (health insurance, compensation, leaves of absences, and paid time off). 

  • Provide human resources analysis such as headcount planning and budget reporting. 

  • Ensure successful audit rating in all aspects relating to HR and Employee Relations. 

  • Facilitate daily administrative duties as assigned. 


REQUIREMENTS; 

  • +5 years of experience in a human resource or development role

  • At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study

  • Ability to manage people-related projects from start to finish 

  • Great team player and can function at an executive level 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and people management skills. 

  • Organisational abilities and attention to detail 

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines 

  • Problem-solving skills 

  • You’re willing to work at a start-up (start-up life is NOT easy) 


YOU’LL GET EXTRA CREDIT FOR 

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study 

  • Membership in relevant professional bodies (CIPM, CIPD, CIHRM etc) 

  • Possession of the HR Practitioner License 

  • Practical educational or work experience in human psychology 

  • Experience in sharing economy, aggregator tech business, automotive industry, start-up, or  dynamic high-growth company 

  • +7 years of experience in a human resource or development role
