Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Environment Management; or Environmental Science; or Environmental Engineering; or Conservation Biology from a recognized University /Institution.

Working Experience


-       Participating in the inspection activities in the Ministry for compliance with relevant laws, policies, standards and regulations relating to environment;

-       Participating in environmental impact studies of projects and ensuring compliance with national laws, policies and international best practices;

-       Participating in the procurement processes for conducting of environmental impact studies;

-       Participating in continuous monitoring of environmental management issues in the projects and programmes;

-       Collecting data for the preparation of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials for sensitization of the Ministry Staff and communities;

-       Collecting data for the preparation of the environment activity reports for submission to management and Development Partners;

-       Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
