Internship at the Country office
A. Responsibilities
The Intern is responsible for
Ensuring that the contract files are closed by obtaining copies of booked invoices for all payments made against the contract.
Ensuring all long outstanding receivables/payables are well documented by obtaining copies of the vouchers, follow up documents and preparing the files
Coordinate the movement of documents between finance, procurement and other departments
Organising of documents for further processing as guided by cashiers and accountants.
B. Tasks
Assist in making copies of the booked invoices for contracts, procurement and FA/LS settlement sheets.
Scanning vouchers for digitization and forwarding the same to office bookkeepers.
Make copies of all long outstanding items, follow up communication and prepare the files.
Support with preparing/packing files for shipping to Head Office
Support in obtaining documents required for Audit by making copies and scanning documents.
Supporting the cash office and accountants with logistical needs.
Support in Archiving of files.
Any other task as may be assigned from time to time.
C. Required qualifications, competences and experience.
Qualifications
Degree in Accounting or comparable qualification.
Pursuing Accounting professional course e.g CPA, ACCA.
Not more than 1 years after graduation.
Other knowledge, additional competences
Experience with IT-based accounting programs
Good interpersonal communication skills
Good English command.
Assignment period:
Until 30.11.2024
