Description

Qualifications, job requirements and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Provide certified copies of the academic documents.
  • Registered by the Pharmacy board and a member of the pharmaceutical society of Uganda.
  • At least 5 years’ work experience in providing support in the management of the national pharmaceutical supply chain system, handling logistics medicines and logistics information management systems.
  • Demonstrated good analytical and presentation skills with Microsoft office packages,


Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to districts to quantify, order and manage health commodities
  • Support and coordinate for quantification, ordering and redistribution of commodities to sustain lifesaving care
  • In collaboration with DHTs, MEL teams, support HMIS 105-6b reporting for all supported facilities
  • Build capacity for health care workers to manage stock at supported facilities
  • Provide program teams and DHT with regular updates on stock availability across facilities to
  • facilitate redistribution and continuity of care
  • Coordinate implementation of Supervision Performance Assessment and Recognition Strategy (SPARS) and PEER strategy in all supported districts.
  • Provide support supervision and technical assistance in collaboration with the supported districts to ensure continuous improvement and strengthening of the supply chain systems.
