Watoto is seeking to recruit a Nurse to support with day-to-day clinical activities within Watoto Clinics.


Requirements

• The applicant for the role should hold at least a Diploma in Nursing from a reputable institution.

• Must be a registered Nurse with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.

• At least two years' experience in nursing.

• Have a valid/ current up-to-date practicing license.

• Good inter-personal skills and ability to relate well to patients.

• Passionate about community health care with ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Commitment to working within standardized guidelines of Nursing care.


Responsibilities
Watoto is seeking to recruit a Nurse to support with day-to-day clinical activities within Watoto Clinics.


Requirements

• To participate in daily clinical rounds and perform daily nursing duties as allocated by the Supervisor, including but not limited to attending appointments and working with isolated patients.

• To ensure that clinical issues are promptly resolved, prioritising on what is best for the health and well-being of the patients within the facility.

• To ensure that Infections are identified and contained early, and clear instructions given about pertinent infection control.

• To participate in the patients and children's feed calculations and nutritional management of those with malnutrition, under the guidance of the Supervisor.

• To maintain an up-to-date medical record and provide Clinical updates regarding patients to the Supervisor.

• To participate in health programmes within and outside Watoto as and when a need arises.
