Requirements

  • Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and mass communication with 5 Years experience or Diploma in Journalism and mass communication with 7 years’ experience of on-air presentation experience in TV, radio and digital broadcasting.
  • Excellent verbal communication, poise, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Strong command of language (spoken and written), especially in a faith-informed and sensitive context.
  • Comfortable in both live and recorded broadcast environments.
  • Knowledge of current broadcast and digital media trends.
  • Knowledge of the law, ethics and industry regulation.
  • Flexible and adaptable to versatile work schedules.
  • A very strong team player.


Responsibilities
  • Host and lead high impact assigned flagship programmes with professionalism, authority, and thematic depth.
  • Drive programme direction and creative tone in collaboration with producers and content leads.
  • Conduct in-depth, thought-provoking interviews with influential guests, experts, and faith leaders that shape cultural and social conversations.
  • Provide strategic input in programme planning, audience targeting, and thematic direction in collaboration with producers and content leads.
  • Ensure all content meets editorial and spiritual standards while maintaining audience appeal and relevance.
  • Contribute to long-term programming strategies that support the station’s mission, revenue and audience retention goals.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue and Marketing teams to enhance commercial viability, audience engagement, and long-term sustainability of assigned programme(s).
  • Lead capacity building sessions on presentation skills, audience connection, and digital engagement in collaboration with producers and content leads.
  • Drive innovation in show formats, integrating multimedia, interactive, and digital-first elements.
  • Collaborate with producers, digital and marketing teams to amplify programme reach across digital, social media, OTT, and podcast platforms.
  • Analyse audience insights to shape content strategy and measure performance impact in collaboration with producers, digital and marketing teams.
  • Represent the station as a brand ambassador at events, conferences, and public engagements as assigned.
