GIZ is implementing a 3-year project “Strengthening Water Security in Zanzibar” (ZanziWaS) in partnership with the Ministry of Water, Energy and Minerals (MoWEM). The project supports a sustainable management of water supply, wastewater and water resources on Zanzibar.

• Educational foundation: A higher-education degree in economics or related
  

• Proven track record: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in project management, delivering re-sults and driving success.
  

• Communications expertise: At least 3 years of experience in communications, including social media strategy and implementation.

• Access to finance: Demonstrated experience in access to finance for small enterprises including private sector cooperations
  

• Experience in designing business development services for small and medium enterprises
  

• Innovation-driven mindset: Practical experience in managing and fostering innovation to drive impactful outcomes.
  

• Complex stakeholder management: Skilled at navigating and managing relationships with diverse and complex stakeholders.
  

• Experience in cooperation with the public sector is an added value
  

• Team player with diverse awareness: Proven ability to work effectively in diverse teams, with mem-bers from different cultural and professional backgrounds.
  

• Language proficiency: Fluent in Swahili and English, with excellent communication skills in both lan-guages.
  

• Tech-savvy: Strong working knowledge of digital tools and applications to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
