Required Qualifications
- A degree in Sociology, Public Health, Medical or Health Sciences Research is required.
- Prior experience leading or supporting similar research projects is an advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience in qualitative research methods and stakeholder level engagement is desirable.
- Experience in quantitative research methods, health facility level surveys are desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical.
- Good spoken and written English as well as local languages of the preferred state.
- Good computer skills
- Experience facilitating discussions on gender, health, or sensitive community issues is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Participate in 2-day data collection training.
- Participate in field testing the data collection tools in selected locations.
- Screen, recruit and consent study participants in accordance with the study SOP or research protocol.
- Collect data using Kobo Collect
- Conduct facility surveys with providers using Kobo Collect and send records to central server daily.
- Conduct household surveys with household heads and send to central server daily
- Administer facility observation across selected health facilities and send data to server daily
- Notify the study team on any Severe Adverse Event, protocol deviation or any other ethical issues during the data collection process.
