  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a GCFO in a large, multi-subsidiary organization.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements for public companies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) designation; an MBA is a plus.

  • Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) to join its executive leadership team.
  • The GCFO will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of the group and its subsidiaries, formulating and implementing financial strategies aligned with the Group's overall vision.

Key Duties

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and direction, partnering with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Executive Management Team to achieve the Group's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the Group's long-term goals, ensuring financial sustainability and maximizing return on investment.
  • Oversee all aspects of the financial operations for the Group and its subsidiaries, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and risk management.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, financial advisors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead the finance team in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for optimizing the Group's capital structure and cost of capital.
  • Develop and oversee a robust financial control framework to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Foster a high-performing finance team with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
