REQUIREMENTS

Academic Qualification

• Must have Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and a Masters in Medicine in a surgical discipline (General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic surgery, Urology, Plastics Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Ophthalmology, or Obstetrics Gynaecology etc) Or must have Bachelor in Dental surgery and Masters in medicine maxillofacial surgery, or orthodontics
  
• Fellowship, Research fellowship and PhD an added advantage
  

Eperience

The Candidate should

• Skills
  
• Be a member of relevant professional bodies
  
• Have evidence of contribution to University/Research Institution through activities such as participation in Departmental management, students' academic /research advising, school or University/Institutional meetings, committee membership and related matters
  
• Demonstrate community involvement (e.g. member of BOG)
  

Applicants should demonstrate

• Teach/conduct research and supervise students and /or staff
  
• Design and develop academic programs and curricula
  

Publications

• Having participated in a Clinical trial will be an added advantage
  
• Minimum of one publication will be an added advantage
