  • An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related field from a recognized University.
  • A post graduate qualification in HR is an added advantage
  • A member of a professional organization
  • Eight years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 3 years at Management level
  • Experience in industrial labor and employee relations

  • Eight years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 3 years at Management level
  • Experience in industrial labor and employee relations


  • Coordinate the review, development and implementation of appropriate Human Resource Management policies and procedures for the Group
  • Lead in workforce planning and conduct the Recruitment and Selection processes including on-boarding and new employee orientation
  • Identifies, articulates and translates the HR needs of the Group and deploys appropriate processes and programs offered in ways that bring business value
  • Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
  • Provide HR advice to the Group Leadership Team and employees within their defined scope
  • Partner with Line Managers to deliver against business goals and site specific initiatives/projects
  • Ensure the effective administration of various HR programs: performance management, succession planning, labour and employee relations, and compensation programs
  • Coordinate and/or deliver training programs to employees depending on the business and individual needs
  • Responsible for the health and safety of employees at the workplace and ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations
  • Responsible for handling employee misconduct and complaints from employees about the workplace in a fair and transparent manner
  • Conduct periodic surveys to measure employee satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Establish and review the company wage and salary structure, pay policies and oversees the variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and pay-raises
