Insurance Verification Specialist

We are seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to support our central verification team by confirming patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and provider network status. This role ensures accurate insurance information and a smooth experience for patients, clinics, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and experienced in U.S. healthcare insurance

Schedule availability: Monday to friday (4 PM - 1 AM)

Skills & Requirements:
  • English proficiency (B2+)
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems
  • Strong attention to detail and process adherence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 1+ year of U.S. healthcare or insurance experience


Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and plan status to ensure active and accurate coverage
  • Confirm provider network participation for each patient’s insurance plan
  • Perform insurance verification via phone portals and online insurance systems for home health and office visits
  • Communicate with physician offices, insurance carriers, and patients to obtain current insurance and referral information
  • Accurately document detailed insurance benefits, coverage details, and authorization requirements in patient charts
  • Respond to patient‑specific insurance inquiries and support internal clinic and Patient Services teams
  • Maintain compliance with internal workflows and payer‑specific verification requirements
