Description
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 3 years in welding/fabrication in the fabrication and body welding or automotive/truck repair business
- Proficient in aluminum and steel sheet and structural welding.
- Ability to use a plasma cutter and acetylene/oxygen torches.
- Ability to use welding procedures for different types of aluminum and steel.
- Limited electrical knowledge needed.
- Must be in possession of a valid passport and able to travel internationally.
- Passport should be valid for at least one (1) year at the time of hire.
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles that have been in accidents.
- Fabricate body parts and brackets out of aluminum and steel.
- Work with the body/paint technician to bring the vehicle to like new condition.
- Assist management in estimating damages and writing the accident quote.
