The Senior Human Resources Officer will be responsible for supporting the project's workforce management and HR-related activities. This role involves collaborating closely with project management, site supervisors, and the HR department to ensure efficient staffing, compliance with policies, employee engagement, and smooth HR operations at the project.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR coordination or administration, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry with a head count of at least 500 and above.

• Proficiency in SAP system and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and safety standards relevant to the construction industry.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic construction project environment.

• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.

• Ensure timely onboarding and orientation of new hires, including safety training and introduction to company policies.

• Coordinate with the HR team to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related activities.

• Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.

• Promote a positive and respectful work environment by addressing issues promptly and fairly.

• Provide guidance and support to supervisors on employee management and performance-related matters.

• Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.

• Work with supervisors to identify training and development needs and facilitate appropriate training programs.

• Execute all employee exit procedures, including advising employees on their rights and any benefits they are entitled to.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies within the project.

• Maintain accurate records related to employee attendance, leaves, and other HR-related data.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

• Identify training needs based on project requirements and employee performance evaluations and coordinate and facilitate training sessions to enhance employees' skills and knowledge
