The position of DUTY MANAGER consists of planning,directing, or coordinating the operations of the hotel.



Responsibilities

The position of DUTY MANAGER consists of planning,directing, or coordinating the operations of the hotel.



1.   Supervise all departments

2.   Monitor sales

3.   Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies

4.   Determine staffing requirements, and train newemployees, or oversee those personnel processes;


5.   Direct and coordinate activities of businesses ordepartments concerned with the production, pricing, sales,


6.   Direct and coordinate organization's financial andbudget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increaseefficiency;


7.   Establish and implement departmental policies, goals,objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members, organizationofficials, and staff members as necessary;


8.   Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale,representing management in purchase negotiations;


9.   Manage staff, prepare work schedules and assignspecific duties;


10.              

Oversee activitiesdirectly related to making products or providing services;

11.              

Plan and directactivities such as sales promotions and coordinate with other department headsas required;

12.              

Review financialstatements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measureproductivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reductionand program improvement.
