The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy aimed at driving sales, increasing market share, and enhancing profitability for the animal feeds division. This position requires a dynamic and seasoned professional with at least 15 years of total work experience, including a minimum of 10 years in the animal feeds industry. The candidate must possess strong business acumen and excellent leadership skills.


Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy aimed at driving sales, increasing market share, and enhancing profitability for the animal feeds division. This position requires a dynamic and seasoned professional with at least 15 years of total work experience, including a minimum of 10 years in the animal feeds industry. The candidate must possess strong business acumen and excellent leadership skills.



  • Must have technical know-how for the formulation of Animal Feeds and can study the market for the requirement and accordingly give feedback to the production team for formulation.
  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the animal feeds division to achieve sales targets and business growth.
  • Lead and manage the Value Stream to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Monitor Value Stream performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, advertising campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the product development team to create and launch new animal feed products
  • Develop and manage the commercial budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources
  • Monitor financial performance, including sales revenue, margins, and profitability.
  • Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in animal science, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior commercial role within the animal feed industry.
  • Strong understanding of the animal feed market, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in new product development and launch.
