Qualifications & Experience

  • HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certification in Logistics, Transport Management, or Supply Chain is an – Added advantage.
  • Advanced certification in fleet or transport operations is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in dispatch, logistics, or transport management.
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or transport industry is an added advantage
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
  • Monitor vehicle movements and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Manage dispatch personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth dispatch operations.
  • Analyze dispatch data and prepare reports to support performance improvement.
  • Resolve delivery delays, operational issues, and customer complaints promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch transactions, vehicle logs, and fuel usage.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives to improve dispatch efficiency.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, availability, and utilization of fleet to minimize downtime.
