Qualifications & Experience
HND/bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in material planning or supply chain management in a food manufacturing company.
Experience using ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain material requirement plans (MRP) based on production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing overstocking and stockout.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to align material supply with production needs.
• Analyze demand trends, supplier lead times, and production forecasts to optimize material procurement.
• Track and resolve material shortages or delays that could impact production schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of material usage, supplier performance, and stock movements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards in material handling and planning.
