Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of failover mechanisms and replication technologies to ensure seamless recovery of IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and their business continuity features, including automated backups and high availability configurations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to assess potential risks, downtime, and financial impacts of disruptions.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including step-by-step procedures, recovery objectives, and contingencies to ensure business functions can continue during disruptions.
- Prioritize business functions based on recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO), ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate potential threats, such as natural disasters, cyber-attacks, or supply chain interruptions.
