We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of all available resources within the assigned(Central Kenya)region. He/she will be required to focus on maximizing sales profitability, expanding market share, and exceeding customers' expectations while adhering to Gilani's Distributors Ltd's policies and procedures.


Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of all available resources within the assigned(Central Kenya)region. He/she will be required to focus on maximizing sales profitability, expanding market share, and exceeding customers' expectations while adhering to Gilani's Distributors Ltd's policies and procedures.


  1. Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve regional sales targets.

  2. To achieve Customer Base targets via acquisition drives & supporting HQ-led Trade Marketing & Brand Activities.

  3. To drive Channel Specific Agenda in line with Company targets

  4. To undertake Channel Partner Relationship management to ensure sustainable business practices and profitability (ROI).

  5. To oversee & drive the people capability agenda across all levels – Internal and external sales reps

  6. To ensure customer expectations regarding standard of services & product knowledge are met

  7. To monitor the activities of competition and to prepare counter action plans.

  8. To build interfaces & relations with other departments to drive overall Gilani’s agenda in the region

  9. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the region.

  10. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new distribution channels and partnerships.

  11. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers within the region.

  12. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the National Sales Manager.

  13. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop localized promotional activities and marketing campaigns.

  14. Conduct regular market visits to assess customer needs, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

  15. Train and develop the sales team members to enhance their selling skills and product knowledge.

  16. Ensure effective implementation of sales strategies, policies, and procedures within the region.
