This role reports to the Distributor Development Supervisor with a the main responsibility being maintaining and growing sales volume in their specific territory while maintaining positive business relationships.


Responsibilities

This role reports to the Distributor Development Supervisor with a the main responsibility being maintaining and growing sales volume in their specific territory while maintaining positive business relationships.


  1. Ensure that the territory volume and distribution objectives of company brands are achieved by trade channel and outlet type so availability is maximized in line with needs of the market.

  2. Ensure MTK stockists and wholesalers understand the MTK value proposition.

  3. Recruit and handover to Van/Distributor rep potential stockists and wholesalers and track to ensure servicing and growth is achieved.

  4. Responsible for executing Route to Market plans for the Territory, including but not limited to developing new areas, developing existing stockists, managing business continuity plans and driving direct selling.

  5. Managing relationships with existing stockists and wholesalers, ensuring that the products are always available to them in the right quantities and the assigned route is serviced in a timely manner.

  6. Supervise, motivate and develop the Distributor Sales Reps by regular coaching and accompaniments in their areas to ensure maximum returns for the business and capability building.

  7. Direct, support and supervise Consumer & retail marketing engagement teams

  8. Keeping up-to-date on current market changes and trends and provide timely and accurate to management for action.

  9. Monitoring competitor activities and provide market intelligence on counterfeits promptly reporting to the Sales Supervisor.

  10. Ensure all duties performed in the market by self and distributor staff adhere to the Tobacco Control Act Oversight of any Riders and RRRs within their territory and identifying market gaps.

  11. Provide support to the trade through regular and accurate communication, problem solving, specialized advice and fair trade.

  12. Manage financial accounts and assets for the territory to ensure that trade marketing resources are secure and used in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
