Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Management, or any relevant field.

• Relevant insurance qualifications ie CIU, DIU etc

Experience

• Experience in sales, preferably in Bancassurance or financial services, is an added advantage

• Knowledge of the financial services industry, specifically insurance and Commercial banking.

• Knowledge of both life insurance and general insurance.

Responsibilities
  • 1. To promote and sell insurance products in the branch by identifying customer needs and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

    2. Actively participate in insurance sales activation programs marketing campaigns, roadshows, and customer awareness events organised by branch management and insurers in conjunction with the Manager Bancassurance.

    3. Assess customer financial and protection needs, recommend suitable insurance products based on client profiles, and explain policy benefits, terms, and conditions clearly to clients.

    4. Ensure timely policies renewals and premium collection.

    5. Identify and report any potential risks or issues related to insurance sales and customer interactions.

    6. Monitor the branch Insurance portfolio, to manage attrition and receivables, documentation, and policy anniversaries.

    7. cross-sell insurance products with bank products to generate additional business for the bank.

    8. Conduct presentations and sales meetings with customers to explain insurance products and benefits

    9. Follow up with potential and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

    10. Train and support branch staff on Bancassurance products, sales techniques, and compliance requirements.

    11. Generate regular sales reports and performance metrics for management Explaining banking and insurance products and processes to customers.

    12. Build customer relationships by providing after-sales services.

    13. Comply with bancassurance regulations, AML/CFT/CPF policies and procedures, non -compliance of which shall be addressed as per the bank disciplinary processes.

    14. Any other duty as shall be assigned to you from time to time.
