Our Fides farm is located 28 km south of Embu town and 125 km north-east of Nairobi.


Responsibilities

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Computer Hardware and Software Installation.

  • Data Input, Processing and Report Generation.

  • Network (LAN/WAN) Installation, administration & maintenance.

  • IT Help Desk support.

  • Backup and replication of Local Servers Data.

  • Maintain hardware and software updates and access.

  • Domain administration.

  • System and Network Security.

  • Data Analysis and Automation.

  • Collaborating with departments to identify end-user requirements and specifications.

  • Design and develop efficient and elegant software based on requirements.

  • Testing and deploying programs and applications


EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

  • 2-3 years of working experience.

  • Computer hardware and troubleshooting skills.

  • Networking fundamentals knowledge.

  • Operating systems (Windows, Linux)

  • Basic cybersecurity knowledge.

  • Advanced Programming Skills

  • Up-to-date system backups - backup logs.

  • System downtime and uptime.

  • Hardware and Software updates.

  • Hardware maintenance schedule records.

  • On-time and quality support.
