Team Leadership & Development
- Lead the Special Risk Marketing team to achieve business growth and market share objectives.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance marketing skills, product knowledge, and professional development.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives targeting corporate clients and brokers.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and emerging trends.
- Prepare and present business proposals, marketing reports, and performance updates to senior management.
Client & Broker Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with underwriting, technical, and claims teams to design and promote customized insurance solutions.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Reporting Structure
Reports To: Chief Sales & Marketing Officer
Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum of B.Sc./HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
- ACII qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in insurance marketing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies for corporate or specialized insurance products.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of special risk insurance products (e.g., Oil & Gas, Aviation, Marine, Engineering).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and marketing management tools.
- Analytical skills for market research, trend analysis, and performance reporting.
