THE JOB
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree
5 years’ experience in contractor/compliance management, of which 2 years are at the management level
Internal / External Audit experience will be an added advantage.
Computer literacy with knowledge of ERP and MS Office is essential.
Demonstrable working knowledge of labour laws, strong industrial relations, people skills and social ethical standards (Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance).
Good organising and planning skills
Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
Proven strong supervisory, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Ensure contractors comply with company policies, statutory requirements, certification standards, and mandatory training requirements.
Follow up on any noncompliance raised through external and internal audits and ensure closure within the provided timelines.
Carry out training need assessments and ensure all new and ongoing contractor employees are adequately inducted/trained to perform their roles and are aware of all safety requirements.
Generate accurate contractors’ activity monthly reports on performance, compliance, and contract costs from all business units and share accordingly for record and reference.
Coordinate with the unit managers in enforcing compliance by contractors and their employees.
Conduct regular contractor statutory compliance checks and provide a detailed monthly performance score for every contractor.
Maintain an accurate database on contractors and their employees.
In liaison with unit managers, ensure contractor employees are issued and use their Personal Protective Equipment.
Ensure contractors and their employees have been trained on Human Rights Due Diligence compliance and adherence.
