The Purpose of this role is to: Review company Invoices for Tax compliance, Reconciliation of Tax Ledgers and filling of Returns. -VAT, withholding and excise returns.


Responsibilities

The Purpose of this role is to: Review company Invoices for Tax compliance, Reconciliation of Tax Ledgers and filling of Returns. -VAT, withholding and excise returns.


  1. Invoice validation for tax compliance

  2. Review of declaration/ payment of tax on imports.

  3. Prepare various returns, i.e. VAT, WHT, Excise, WH VAT and WH on rent, with detailed supporting schedules and documentation

  4.  File returns

  5. Tax Reconciliation

  6. Ensure compliance of various compliance trackers.

  7. Analyse Tax accounts, by the 20th of every month to ensure all invalid items are cleared in a timely manner.

  8. Support tax requests from various departments. Any other duties as may be assigned by the manager
