Qualifications
· Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field.
· Strong experience managing healthcare or large-scale facilities.
· Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., JCI, OSHA), building codes, and safety standards.
· Strong project management, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency in facility management software.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance and Operations
· Oversee daily maintenance activities, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
· Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and report malfunctions promptly.
· Implement preventive maintenance schedules and document completed tasks.
· Supervise repairs and minor renovations to minimize disruption to hospital operations.
· Maintain an inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
· Coordinate with biomedical teams to ensure medical equipment is properly maintained.
Safety and Compliance
· Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
· Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (e.g., JCI, OSHA).
· Train staff on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and infection control measures.
· Maintain records of safety certifications, inspections, and incident reports.
· Investigate accidents or safety violations and implement corrective actions.
· Oversee waste disposal and ensure adherence to environmental guidelines.
Space and Resource Management
· Optimize space utilization for clinical and non-clinical areas.
· Ensure patient and staff areas are clean, functional, and well-maintained.
· Oversee storage facilities and inventory management.
· Implement signage and wayfinding systems for ease of navigation.
