Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • A Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • 7+ years of management experience in IT/FinTech or a startup in a similar environment.
  • Proven ability to monitor and improve company performance metrics, including engineering outputs.
  • Experience in driving operational excellence and managing high-value client portfolios.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Expertise in business development, proposals, and stakeholder presentations.
  • High integrity, public speaking skills, and networking ability.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and business management tools.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the Business Operations function and daily operations across all departments, ensuring effective coordination, efficiency, and alignment with company strategy and business goals.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, improving existing revenue streams, and supporting go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations and cross functional teams to align product development with business needs, customer requirements, and market opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into operational and technical deliverables, ensuring seamless execution of products and services.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes, policies, and systems to support scalability and performance.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue, operational efficiency, and customer metrics, and take corrective action where needed.
  • Provide oversight of projects to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Manage company budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to ensure financial sustainability and profitability.
  • Support and lead business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, pricing strategies, and client negotiations.
  • Build and manage strong client relationships to drive retention, upselling, and long-term value creation.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships that enhance service offerings and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Oversee vendor and partner relationships, ensuring optimal performance and value delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Identify talent and capability gaps, supporting recruitment and continuous professional development.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Track and report on operational, financial, and commercial performance, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present periodic performance and strategic reports to the Board, providing clear insights on operations, financials, and growth initiatives.
