Description
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Telesales Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales over the phone, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving set sales targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, resilience, and a strong understanding of sales techniques within a call centre environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote products and services.
Handle inbound inquiries, providing accurate information and converting leads into sales.
Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, services, and promotions.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Accurately record customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in the CRM system.
Follow up on leads and previous interactions to close sales opportunities.
Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve sales strategies and performance.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Communications).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a call centre environment, preferably in a telesales.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Experience using CRM systems and call centre software.
Strong understanding of sales principles and customer engagement techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, data entry, email communication).
Excellent verbal communication and persuasive selling skills.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Active listening and problem-solving skills.
Resilience and ability to handle rejection positively.
Time management and organizational skills.
Customer-centric mindset with a professional attitude.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
