HR & Payroll Specialist (Remote)
We are seeking a remote HR & Payroll Specialist to support onboarding, payroll setup, documentation management, and employee relations. This role ensures new hires are properly onboarded, employee records remain updated, payroll information is accurate, and HR inquiries are handled professionally—helping reduce the administrative workload on management.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in payroll administration, HR administration, or related support roles.
- Proven experience with onboarding, employee documentation, and payroll processes.
- Ability to work with HR platforms or workforce systems (ideal: Venture, Prism).

Advanced English level (C1+) for internal communication with employees and management.
- Experience assisting employees with logins, system setup, and documentation workflows.
- Understanding of secure handling of sensitive payroll and personal information.
- Experience supporting HR or payroll in hospitality, wellness, or service-based organizations.
- Familiarity with U.S. payroll processes and HRIS/payroll platforms.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating HRIS and workforce systems.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and employee-support skills.
- Professionalism and discretion in all HR matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle onboarding, including I-9 verification and system setup.
- Maintain and update employee files, documentation, and performance records.
- Assist employees with access to Venture, Prism Workforce Management, and payroll platforms.
- Support payroll setup, direct deposit information, and timekeeping documentation.
- Review resumes and assist with sourcing when needed.
- Handle HR-related calls and emails from employees and management.
- Serve as a neutral contact for employee concerns and escalate updates appropriately.
- Ensure secure handling of confidential payroll and HR information.
