Requirements:

  • Experience of 5+ years in a busy operations environment, specifically in the Oil and Gas industry will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of automotive engineering with knowledge of automotive maintenance, especially heavy commercial trucks and 4X4 pick ups.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to negotiate complex agreements and mitigate risks.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
  • People management skills.

Academic qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business or engineering is desired.


Responsibilities
  • Fully support the Operations Manager in daily execution of operations tasks and projects.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics plans and tracking of company vehicles.
  • Liaise with management to ensure that all issues affecting operations, if any, are attended to in a timely manner.
  • Prepare periodic drivers’ vehicle and route allocation plan.
  • Closely monitor the departments expenditures and budget and appraise the management on any shortfalls.
  • Prepare and submit department’s reports as and when required.
  • Prepare and coordinate department’s meetings and keep minutes.
  • Ensure safe operations while minimizing risks through compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health standards.
