Wholesale Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Prospecting

.Actively research, map, and pitch to target customer segments: Ophthalmologists, Eye Hospitals, Optical Shops, Pharmacies, and Wholesale Distributors.

·Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings and product demonstrations for high-end eye test equipment to Eye Hospitals and Ophthalmologists.

·Identify potential wholesale pharmaceutical distributors to scale the distribution of contact lens solutions to retail pharmacies.

·Seek new market opportunities outside Nairobi,targeting upcountry towns and regional hubs across Kenya.

2. Account Management & Retailing Support

· Build strong relationships with Opticians and Optical Shop managers to secure orders for frames, sunglasses, contact lenses,solutions, and diagnostic equipment.

· Analyze monthly customer sales reports to evaluate product movement.

· Recommend replenishment orders and pitch new collections to clients based on sales trends to prevent stock outs.

3. Order Processing & Logistics Coordination

· Book customer orders accurately in SAP Business One (SAP B1).

· Coordinate directly with warehouse inventory teams to generate delivery notes.

· Oversee end-to-end order dispatch to guarantee on-time delivery to customers.

4. Credit Management & Payment Collection

· Manage customer accounts operating under credit terms, ensuring compliance with approved limits. Those on advance payment ensure payment reflect and confirmed by finance before goods delivery.

· Conduct regular follow-ups to guarantee timely invoice collections and maintain a healthy receivables portfolio.

• Qualifications & Experience
  

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration

· Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven track record in sales, direct experience in medical devices/products will be an added plus.

· Technical Skills: Hands-on experience booking orders and generating reports in SAP Business One (SAP B1) or a similar ERP system.

· Competencies: Strong negotiation,consultative selling, and relationship management skills; self-driven with aproactive approach to lead generation.
