Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Manager to lead our commercial operations in Uganda. Open to Kenyan candidates with working experience in Uganda.
In this role, you will drive revenue growth, expand market share, and manage performance across retail, institutional, government, NGO and wholesale channels.
You will lead commercial strategies, manage a high-performing team and align efforts with regional and international priorities.
This role also involves coordinating export activities with teams across East Africa and the International Business Cluster.
We seek a strong commercial leader with proven experience in multi-channel sales, team leadership and sustainable growth within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG or distribution sectors.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement commercial strategies to grow revenue and market share.
Lead sales performance across all channels with clear targets and market insights.
Coordinate and grow export business with regional and international teams.
Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and other teams for smooth execution.
Manage commercial performance, revenue and profitability.
Oversee credit control and financial risk in partnership with Finance.
Build strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Monitor commercial operations ensuring compliance and performance tracking.
- Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team.
Ensure adherence to governance, compliance and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field.
MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Minimum of 8 -10 years' experience in commercial leadership roles.
Proven success managing multi-channel sales and large teams.
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG or distribution preferred.
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation and leadership skills.
Data-driven decision-making and financial management expertise.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
