The Assistant IT Manager plays a key role in supporting the Information Technology department's daily operations. This position involves assisting the IT Manager in managing IT projects, ensuring network and system security, providing technical support, and collaborating with various departments to meet the organization's IT needs.

The Assistant IT Manager plays a key role in supporting the Information Technology department's daily operations. This position involves assisting the IT Manager in managing IT projects, ensuring network and system security, providing technical support, and collaborating with various departments to meet the organization's IT needs.
Description
- Conducting routine evaluations of network and data security
- Locating and seizing chances to enhance and update software and systems
- Creating and implementing the organization’s IT policy and best practice manuals
- Creating workshops and training programmes for staff
- Performing routine system audits
- Running routine system operations reports and sharing them with top employees
- Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages
- Looking for opportunities to train and build teamwork skills
