Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution.
  • Valid professional license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a busy medical laboratory, including demonstrated involvement in laboratory accreditation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities
  • Maintain laboratory quality management system in alignment with ISO 15189, JCIA, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate document and record control processes to promote standardization and compliance.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits, coordinate external and other applicable audits and inspections.
  • Manage nonconformities, incidents, and risk assessments to enhance patient and staff safety.
  • Monitor and analyze quality indicators and support management review processes.
  • Coordinate staff quality training, orientation, and competence assessments.
  • Oversee internal and external quality control programs.
  • Manage customer feedback to support continuous service improvement.
