Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Be a key leader in building a discipline of exceptional data scientists and analysts. Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy - design what world class looks like

  • Team Building & Management: Hire, develop, and retain a high performing team of data professionals

  • Experimentation: Champion and drive a culture of rigorous experimentation, including A/B testing, to inform product development and business decisions.

  • Data Pipeline Ownership: Oversee the end-to-end ownership, design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable data pipelines.

  • Data Insights & Analytics - including model development and productionisation:
    Drive the generation of actionable insights from data to support various business functions, including product, marketing, risk, and operations. How can we build Marketing Mix Models for better channel attribution modeling? What is our actual channel per channel mCAC? Which customer segments are more/less engaged? What are our customers’ share of wallet - how can we use this?

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with marketing, product, and engineering managers to ensure we collect the right data for meaningful business insights. Bring data leadership and rigour to our approach to product development. Build a strategic understanding of the business and structure complex projects to bring them to life.
