Reporting to the Management Accountant – Finance, the Finance Intern will be responsible for ensuring accurate, up-to-date reconciliations of various ledger accounts to enhance efficiency and add value to the department.

• Accounts reconciliations between Sub-Ledgers and General Ledger.
  

• Generate management performance reports for monitoring, evaluation, and informed decision-making
  

• Validation of data in the New ERP system against source documents to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  

• Maintain and keep a good filing system of all accounting documents.
  

• Generate and prepare key operations metrics from financial records
  

• Preparation and monitoring of periodic cost & expenditure reports and variances per cost centres.
  

• Any other additional responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
  

Minimum requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  

• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA(K), ACCA) will be an added advantage.
  

• Strong knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting
  

• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, is preferred.
  

• Close attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  

• Proficiency in the use of modern AI data analytics tools such as Copilot, PowerApps, and Power BI.
  

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  

• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
