Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Master’s Degree (MBA, MSc IT, or related) is an added advantage, especially for leadership or strategic roles.

  • National Youth Service or Exemption Certificate.

  • Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CompTIA Network+

  • 3 years progressive experience in IT operations, system administration, or IT project management.

  • Prior experience in supervisory/managerial roles.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily IT operations including networks, servers, systems, and applications.

  • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.

  • Manage IT infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity measures, and disaster recovery plans.

  • Supervise IT staff, provide leadership, and ensure continuous capacity building.

  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and security.

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and hardware solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with IT regulations, data protection laws (e.g., NDPR, GDPR), and organizational policies.

  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of technology resources.

  • Provide technical support and training to staff to enhance IT literacy.
