About the Role
Location & Work Model Disclaimer:
This is a primarily remote role, candidates, however, must be willing to spend multiple extended periods on the ground each year working closely with local teams, partners, and leadership, as in-market presence is critical to execution and context.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain models for credit risk, fraud detection, user behavior, and portfolio performance
- Partner with Product, Finance, and Engineering to embed data into decision-making
- Define and track core business, risk, and growth metrics
- Design experiments and analyses to improve unit economics and customer outcomes
- Ensure data quality, governance, and scalable analytics infrastructure
- Mentor junior analysts and help establish data best practices
Required Experience & Profile
- 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied machine learning
- Strong background in fintech, lending, payments, or financial risk modeling preferred
- Experience working with large datasets and production-level data pipelines
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting scale-phase decision-making in high-growth environments
